What is life but happiness?
So let’s all search for pure bliss
They tell me if I get the bling
I will have the real thing
So I work and work
In my search
Acquiring all I can
Trying to be the man
But nothing seems to be enough
Although I have so much stuff
This cycle makes no sense to me
I work so much, but I’m never free
Life is going much too fast
My prime days have almost passed
Happiness himself dismissed
Even though I got my wish
Why do we do the things we do?
What they told me wasn’t true
The poor people walking by
Seem much happier than I
I guess this culture is a lie
